On September 19, Twyla Hansen, one of the state's foremost poets, read at the Brownville Lyceum. At this link, you will find images from the last visit Twyla payed to Peru State College as part of the Creative Writing Series. I took only a few pictures of Twyla's September 19 reading,which featured poems from "Prairie Suite: A Celebration" a poet-drawing collaboration with Ornithologist Paul Johnsgard; sales from the book go to support the Audubon Society's Spring Creek Prairie.
